Endurance Adventures provides guided cross country ski and mountain bike trips for all ability and fitness levels. For some of our trip we require a minimum of two years experience skiing or biking due to the difficulty of the trip itinerary. Overall Endurance Adventures welcomes all ability/fitness levels. The 2023 Tour of Anchorage trip had a variety of age/ability levels that included:

  • First year 28 year old Nordic skier
  • A 72 year old retired ski coach
  • Two post collegiate Nordic racers in their 30’s and 40’s

Endurance Adventures adheres to all CDC guidelines. Currently, we do not require masks on any of our events or trips. Our trip leaders are fully vaccinated, but we do not require trip participants to be vaccinated. We do not require trip participants to get tested before or during our trips.

Unforeseen events such as flight delays, baggage loss or even a sudden sickness or injury could impact your travel plans.

Endurance Adventures has partnered with Travelex Insurance to created custom plans that meet the needs of the active adventure traveler. Travelex provides industry leading coverage that includes:

  • Coverage for trip cancellation or interruption
  • Emergency medical evacuation and treatment
  • Protection for your flights and baggage

Effective April 3, 2023, participants can purchase their plan up to 11:59 p.m. on the day before their trip regardless of the initial trip deposit date!

All trip leaders are CPR/First Aid certified. Many of our cross-country ski trip leaders are also USSA level 100 and 200 Nordic coach certified. Our mountain bike trip leaders are level 200 BICP certified coaches.

If you prefer to classic or skate technique only that is perfectly fine. There will be days focused on skate or classic only technique but coaches coach both techniques at the same time as needed.
