Endurance Adventures offers a variety of cross-country ski and mountain bike group skills clinics in the Twin Cities parks. We join efforts with local ski and bike shops for ski and bike equipment fitting and educational seminars. Throughout the year Endurance Adventures provides seminars on training plans, injury prevention, strength training, nutrition and other sports related topics. Women’s Mountain Bike Clinics

Women’s Beginner Mountain Bike Skills Series

Fundamental Mountain Bike Skills four week series will include:
➔ Introduction to bike fit and safety check.
➔ Three MTB essentials
➔ Fundamental bike body positions and movements include the following:

Neutral/Ready positions, Bike/Body separation, pedal position, eye movement, braking, steering, speed, gearing/cadence, timing/coordination, and pressure control. The class will introduce the skills of climbing, descending, ratcheting, riding straight lines, small circles/switchbacks, and rock dodge.

  • Day: Wednesday evenings
  • Time: 6 -7 PM
  • Where: Wirth Beach
  • Dates: April 17, 24, May 1, 8
  • Cost: $40 for all four sessions or $15/session (price is discounted to kick off the spring)!

Summer Mountain Bike Intermediate Skill Series

Intermediate MTB 200 Progression Skills Class
➔ Review bike fit, safety check, and three MTB essentials.
➔ Review and refine the fundamentals of mountain biking skills
➔ Introduce intermediate progression skills on the bike including Track stand, climbing and
descending dismount, advanced climbing and restarting on hill skills, and descending at
high speeds on berms.

  • Day: Tuesday evenings
  • Time: 6 -7 PM
  • Where: Wirth Beach
  • Dates: May 28, June 4, June 11, June 18
  • Cost: $100 for all four sessions or $30/session
