Following the ride, women attended a bike maintenance clinic led by Ellie from Riverbrook Bike Shop. The evening concluded with a delicious meal and social time at Main Street Tacos in downtown Hayward.

Saturday morning, the women’s group joined forces with CAMBA (Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association) trails crew for our volunteer trail work project on the Ojibwe Trail. Endurance Adventures donated $50 per registration to CAMBA, totaling $750.

The best part of volunteering is meeting new people, enjoying nature, and giving back to an organization that has provided over 130 miles of single-track trails for all ages to explore! Following our trail work, the women were treated to a delicious lunch on the back patio of Rivers Eatery.

In the afternoon, women practiced more mountain bike skills, followed by a single-track ride on the new Trek trails at Telemark Village. Trip leaders guided women on an adventurous loop that connected the Trek trails to the Ojibwe trail system. Riding on the section of the Ojibwe trail that we just worked on was very satisfying!

Following the ride, women enjoyed appetizers and a relaxing post-ride yoga session at the new Telemark Village Trailhead. To top off the day, the group was treated to an outdoor full-moon dinner at Tamarack Farms Winery.

Sunday morning kicked off with a salsa dance warm-up, followed by bike skills instruction and a guided ride on the Seeley Pass Trails. The women left the camp feeling more confident in their riding skills, along with a deeper connection to the cycling community in Hayward.
